Role Summary
As a Finance Officer, you will be saddled with the responsibility to:
  • Ensure that all expense tickets are processed and paid within 3 working hours of receipt to aid the preparation and readiness of the management account.
  • Ensure that all taxes (WHT) are correctly remitted promptly on all OPEX tickets
  • Spool first draft of Cash GLs on the first working day of every month.
  • Collect and review all bank statements weekly and monthly
  • Support monthly bank reconciliation of accounts domiciled with the finance department
  • Carry out any other function as directed by the line manager

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance or accounting.
  • Professional accounting qualification or progress toward one (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is an added advantage.
  • Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting/ERP software.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
