Who we are looking for:
We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical offline payment acquisition product operations specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will manage the operations of our offline payment products, ensuring high-performance delivery and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of our customers.
Responsibilities:
● Investigate and analyze complex customer requirements for offline payment solutions.
● Document and refine product specifications systematically to ensure clarity and accuracy.
● Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from conception to launch, followed by ongoing optimization and support.
● Perform in-depth competitive analysis to stay ahead in the dynamic offline payment industry.
● Resolve daily operational issues, including transaction discrepancies and service-related challenges.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as tech, sales, marketing, and customer support to drive product implementation and enhancements.
● Regularly review and report on product performance, leveraging data and market feedback to guide future product direction.
● Train and mentor team members to enhance their expertise in product operations.
Qualifications:
● 3-5 years of specialized experience in operations within the offline payment-acquiring sector.
● Previous work experience in collaborative environments, preferably at companies like Vodafone (M-pesa), Airtigo (Tigo-pesa), Airtel, Halo-pesa, Selcom, PesaPal, and banks.
● A relevant degree with proficiency in English; Chinese language proficiency is an advantage.
● Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; experience with Axure for product prototype design; and familiarity with MySQL and QuickBI for data analysis.
● Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
