Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Finance Manager to lead our finance operations in Pakistan. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in NBFC financial management, with expertise in regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and strategic planning. This role requires both hands-on execution and leadership skills to build a robust financial function that supports PalmPay’s expansion in Pakistan.

Key Responsibilities
Financial Management & Reporting
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
  • Prepare and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to management and group finance.
  • Ensure timely reporting of all periodical financial information to internal and external stakeholders.
Regulatory Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with SECP regulations and NBFC-related financial requirements in Pakistan.
  • Supervise tax compliance, TDS/VDS deductions, and ensure proper filings with authorities.
  • Liaise with auditors for internal and external audits, ensuring smooth and timely completion.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Develop financial plans, budgets, and forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
  • Monitor variances, analyze trends, and recommend corrective actions.
Treasury & Risk Management
  • Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and treasury operations.
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks through strong internal controls and risk management practices.
Team Leadership & Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Build and mentor a high-performing finance team in Pakistan.
  • Work closely with Business, Product, HR, and Compliance teams to align financial goals with overall business strategy.
  • Provide financial insights to support product operations and business development.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration.
  • Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 7 years of finance experience, with at least 3+ years in a managerial role within NBFC, fintech, or digital financial services.
  • Strong knowledge of SECP regulations, tax laws, and NBFC accounting practices.
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, audits, compliance, and treasury management.
  • Proficiency in accounting/ERP software and advanced MS Excel.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Fluency in English and Urdu.
