You’ll play a pivotal role in recruiting top talent, shaping HR strategy, promoting a positive work culture, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance as we scale our fintech presence.
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles within the Bangladesh team.
- Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and talent pipeline development.
- Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top fintech talent.
- HR Operations & Compliance
- Set up and manage HR policies, employee handbooks, onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Ensure compliance with Bangladesh labor laws and relevant employment regulations.
- Maintain accurate HR records and oversee payroll coordination in partnership with Finance.
- Performance & Culture Management
- Implement performance management systems aligned with PalmPay’s OKR framework.
- Promote a strong, inclusive workplace culture aligned with our core values.
- Mediate employee relations issues and foster a healthy work environment.
- Learning & Development
- Develop training programs that align with both individual and organizational goals.
- Identify upskilling needs and drive continuous learning initiatives.
- Track and report key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, engagement, etc.
- Use data-driven insights to inform talent strategy and organizational improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
- Deep knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and HR best practices.
- Proven experience in scaling HR processes in high-growth startups or multinational companies.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with HRIS tools (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho People, SAP SuccessFactors).
- Experience working in a fintech, banking, or tech-driven environment is a strong advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bangla (written and spoken).
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a hands-on approach.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.
- Demonstrated ability to influence leadership and drive people strategy.
