Job Summary:
PalmPay is expanding rapidly in Asia, and we’re looking for a highly skilled HR Manager to build and lead our Human Resources operations in Bangladesh. You’ll play a pivotal role in recruiting top talent, shaping HR strategy, promoting a positive work culture, and ensuring legal and regulatory compliance as we scale our fintech presence.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
  • Lead end-to-end recruitment for all roles within the Bangladesh team.
  • Partner with department heads to forecast hiring needs and talent pipeline development.
  • Drive employer branding initiatives to attract top fintech talent.
  • HR Operations & Compliance
  • Set up and manage HR policies, employee handbooks, onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Ensure compliance with Bangladesh labor laws and relevant employment regulations.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and oversee payroll coordination in partnership with Finance.
  • Performance & Culture Management
  • Implement performance management systems aligned with PalmPay’s OKR framework.
  • Promote a strong, inclusive workplace culture aligned with our core values.
  • Mediate employee relations issues and foster a healthy work environment.
  • Learning & Development
  • Develop training programs that align with both individual and organizational goals.
  • Identify upskilling needs and drive continuous learning initiatives.
 HR Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and report key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, engagement, etc.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform talent strategy and organizational improvements.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial capacity.
  • Deep knowledge of Bangladesh labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in scaling HR processes in high-growth startups or multinational companies.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS tools (e.g., BambooHR, Zoho People, SAP SuccessFactors).
  • Experience working in a fintech, banking, or tech-driven environment is a strong advantage.
