We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage and execute end-to-end payroll operations for PalmPay Bangladesh. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with solid experience in payroll processes and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll management, while working closely with HR and Finance teams.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Payroll Specialist to manage and execute end-to-end payroll operations for PalmPay Bangladesh. This role requires a highly detail-oriented professional with solid experience in payroll processes and advanced Excel skills. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate, timely, and compliant payroll management, while working closely with HR and Finance teams.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Management & Processing
- Handle full-cycle payroll processing for all employees in Bangladesh.
- Maintain accurate payroll records including attendance, leave, bonuses, deductions, and reimbursements.
- Calculate salaries, taxes, and statutory contributions in compliance with Bangladesh labor laws.
- Prepare payroll reports, summaries, and analyses using advanced Excel functions (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with Finance/HR teams.
- Ensure adherence to statutory and tax regulations.
- Support audits and provide necessary payroll documentation.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and other departments to ensure smooth payroll operations.
- Provide guidance on payroll policies and procedures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in Bangladesh.
- Solid expertise in payroll operations, statutory compliance, and payroll software.
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, VLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluency in Bangla and English, both written and verbal.
