PalmPay is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Ghana, Nigeria and expanding to other markets in Tanzania. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online.We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Digital Marketing Specialist who will be at the forefront of executing digital campaigns that attract, educate, and convert users in a highly competitive and regulated space. You’ll be responsible for building full-funnel digital strategies that speak to both retail and business clients, leveraging data to optimize performance across paid, owned, and earned channels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, execute, and optimize digital marketing campaigns across Google Ads, LinkedIn, Meta, X (Twitter), YouTube, Instagram,Tik Tok and programmatic platforms
  • Manage SEO/SEM strategies to drive high-quality traffic and improve SERP rankings for relevant financial keywords
  • Create and refine lead generation and conversion funnels tailored to FinTech users, including signup flows, landing pages, and CTAs
  • Analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and CRM dashboards to drive ROI-focused decision-making
  • Run and optimize email nurture sequences, drip campaigns, and transactional emails using platforms like HubSpot, ActiveCampaign, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Collaborate with the content, compliance, and product teams to ensure all campaigns meet financial regulations (e.g., disclaimers, T&Cs, data privacy)
  • Create briefs for creative assets (banners, videos, landing pages) and work with design teams to produce high-performing content
  • Monitor competitors, industry benchmarks, and user behavior to stay ahead of FinTech marketing trends
  • Support growth marketing initiatives like referral programs, affiliate partnerships, and onboarding flows.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, preferably in FinTech, finance, SaaS, or a regulated industry
  • Hands-on experience with performance marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager)
  • Strong knowledge of SEO, keyword research, and content strategy
  • Experience working with GA4, Tag Manager, Search Console, and CRM/marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot)
  • Strong analytical mindset — ability to interpret data and translate insights into action
  • Solid understanding of customer acquisition, lead nurturing, and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-growth, and highly regulated environments

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in a FinTech or financial services marketing team
  • Google Ads / Meta / HubSpot certifications
  • Familiarity with financial compliance and ad policy restrictions (e.g., disclaimers, KYC messaging, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, or website CMS platforms (e.g., Webflow, WordPress)
  • Experience marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences
