PalmPay Limited is a rapidly growing digital-first microfinance bank offering accessible credit and innovative consumer financing solutions. Our Mobile Installment (Buy Now, Pay Later) product enables customers to conveniently acquire mobile devices through flexible repayment plans. We operate closely with major retail partners, including 3C Hub, to provide seamless point-of-sale credit offerings nationwide. To support our expanding network of sales agents deployed across retail outlets, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Trainer to strengthen agent capability, improve conversion rates, and drive consistent product knowledge and performance across all locations.
Position Overview
The Sales Trainer will design, deliver, and continuously improve training programs for Sales Agents and Field Supervisors responsible for selling Flexi’s Mobile Installment product in 3C Hub locations nationwide. This role ensures that all sales personnel possess the right skills, product understanding, sales process knowledge, and customer service competence needed to achieve aggressive acquisition and revenue targets.
Key Responsibilities 1. Training Program Development
Design comprehensive onboarding and continuous learning programs tailored to Mobile Installment sales operations.
Develop structured training manuals, product guides, scripts, objection-handling frames, and performance playbooks.
Update training content regularly in line with new policies, product updates, and regulatory requirements.
2. Training Delivery & Facilitation
Conduct onboarding training for newly recruited Sales Agents before deployment to 3C Hub outlets.
Deliver ongoing refresher courses—virtual and physical—to improve conversion rates and compliance.
Train agents on:
BNPL product features and eligibility criteria
Sales funnel management and lead qualification
Customer needs assessment and solution pitching
POS onboarding processes
Documentation accuracy and KYC standards
Fraud detection and responsible lending practices
3. Performance & Skills Assessment
Conduct periodic knowledge checks, role-plays, and simulations to evaluate agent competency.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Education, or related discipline.
Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in sales training, field sales coaching, or commercial capability development—preferably within MFB, fintech, telecoms, or consumer lending sectors.
Proven track record in training high-volume retail sales teams or promoter networks.
Strong knowledge of consumer credit, BNPL models, or mobile device financing.
Excellent presentation skills and ability to engage large groups.
Strong field coaching ability—comfortable spending significant time at retail outlets.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of micro-lending processes, credit risk basics, and KYC/AML requirements.
