Position Overview We are seeking a Legal Specialist to support PalmPay Bangladesh by handling specific legal areas such as labor law, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, and corporate legal matters. This role will focus on legal execution, documentation, advisory support, and risk mitigation while ensuring alignment with local laws and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
Legal Advisory & Execution
Provide legal advice on assigned areas including labor law, intellectual property, and commercial matters.
Support business and internal departments with day-to-day legal consultations.
Interpret laws, regulations, and regulatory guidelines applicable in Bangladesh.
Contract & Document Management
Draft, review, and analyze contracts, agreements, MOUs, and legal documents.
Identify legal risks in contracts and propose practical mitigation measures.
Maintain proper documentation and legal records.
Legal Research & Analysis
Conduct legal research on relevant laws, rules, and judicial precedents.
Prepare legal opinions, summaries, and internal legal guidance notes.
Monitor legal and regulatory developments impacting the business.
Compliance & Risk Support
Assist in ensuring compliance with Bangladesh labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
Support internal investigations, dispute handling, and compliance reviews.
Coordinate with external lawyers, regulators, and authorities when required.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with HR, Compliance, Finance, Operations, and Business teams.
Support internal training sessions on legal awareness and compliance topics.
