We are seeking a strategic and creative Senior PR Specialist to drive PalmPay’s brand storytelling, media visibility, and corporate reputation in Nigeria. The ideal candidate will combine strong editorial judgment with hands-on execution across media relations, content development, CSR initiatives, and cross-channel communications.

This role reports to the PR Manager, Nigeria, and collaborates closely with marketing teams and PR counterparts across multiple markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive PalmPay’s brand visibility through proactive media engagement, storytelling campaigns, and thought leadership initiatives.
  • Develop and manage high-quality PR content including press releases, media kits, blog posts, interview briefs, and social media copy.
  • Lead cross-channel storytelling execution across PR, digital, and owned platforms.
  • Manage and execute PalmPay’s CSR strategy and social impact initiatives in Nigeria.
  • Identify media opportunities and oversee media relations, press engagements, and media buying activities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, social media, and international PR teams to ensure consistent brand messaging.
  • Monitor brand sentiment, measure PR impact, and support online reputation management initiatives.
  • Maintain a repository of brand messaging, media assets, and communication materials.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in PR, Corporate Communications, or Brand Communications within fintech, banking, financial services, or a regulated industry.
  • Strong storytelling and content development skills across earned, owned, and digital media channels.
  • Proven ability to write and edit compelling communication materials.
  • Experience managing CSR or reputation-led initiatives is an added advantage.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and editorial skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects independently.
  • Membership of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) is an added advantage.
