Palmpay Philippines is looking for Area Sales Managers to join our team in the Visayas Region.

Locations are the following:
  • Region 6 - Negros Oriental, Negros Occidental, Iloilo

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support a team of Field Sales Representatives in day-to-day activities.
  • Assign sales targets and territories to team members and monitor their performance.
  • Visit retail partner stores regularly to ensure product visibility, staff training, and promotion execution.
  • Assist in onboarding new retail partners and maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
  • Conduct product and process training for retail store staff and new sales team members.
  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor offers and retailer feedback, and report to the Regional Sales Manager.
  • Ensure all sales transactions and applications comply with company policies and compliance standards.
  • Motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed individual and team targets.
  • Handle basic customer or retailer inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
  • Prepare daily/weekly sales reports and submit them to the Regional Sales Manager.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of sales experience, preferably in FinTech, consumer lending, mobile phones, or FMCG, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Experience working with retail networks and distributors.
  • Good understanding of the local area's market dynamics.
  • Strong leadership and team coaching skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Goal-oriented, organized, and able to work under pressure.
  • Basic computer skills (MS Office, email, reporting tools).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel locally daily.
