As we scale to become Africa’s #1 payments brand, we are looking for a Digital Channel Support Officer, to aid effective operations.

Job Responsibilities

  • Monitoring payment channels including but not only focusing on banking, switching companies, financial technology companies, payment system service providers (PSSPs), PTSPs, etc.
  • Work closely with the internal settlement, products, operation, and compliance teams to fully understand payment channel requirements.
  • Develop and adjust business development plans for connecting payment channels based on different sets of strategic priorities.
  • Ensure payment channels has a stable connection with our system and provide quick response to any channel-related issue.
  • Work closely with operation teams to suggest and recommend new initiatives that could improve customers' experience using our mobile application and payment system.
  • Prepare competitor's product comparative analysis, identifying areas for improvement of our company's product and channel capabilities.

Qualification & Required Skills

3-5 years of experience in channel operations 

Bachelor's degree in a tech-related field

  • Excellent track record and background in channel operations management and leading transformation.
  •  A very solid understanding of (region, marketplace, and competition)
  • Know the competition – channel model and structure
  • Excellent listening, analytical, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent management skills – leading direct and virtual teams and managing projects successfully.
  • Sound understanding of critical drivers and associated priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Flexible – ability to work in an ever-changing and demanding environment.
  • Ability to manage ambiguity.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships with colleagues and negotiate consensus effectively.
  • Ability to drive change and execute.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate with senior managers and other influential stakeholders.
