PalmPay is a leading fintech company committed to providing innovative payment and consumer finance solutions that make digital financial services more accessible, safe, and rewarding.We are expanding our presence in the Philippines through mobile installment programs for Transsion brands (Tecno / Infinix / Itel), enabling consumers to enjoy flexible and affordable financing options.Current company seeking a results-driven Collection Team Leader to manage and optimize our device finance collections operations in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in consumer finance collections, digital/retail lending, and mobile device finance, with prior experience in Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, or PayJoy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of collections officers to achieve and exceed collection targets.
  • Develop and implement collection strategies to maximize recovery while maintaining excellent customer experience.
  • Monitor daily collection performance, KPIs, and team productivity, providing actionable insights for improvement.
  • Coordinate with sales, operations, and customer service teams to address delinquency issues and account resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine regulatory requirements, BSP guidelines, and company policies in all collection activities.
  • Analyze portfolio risk, customer behavior, and trends to optimize collection strategies and reduce delinquency rates.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, retailers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth recovery processes.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and digital collection initiatives.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in collections management, preferably in device finance, consumer lending, or fintech.
  • Proven experience in Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, PayJoy, or similar organizations.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine consumer finance regulations and collections best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to implement effective collection strategies across multiple channels.
  • Knowledge of digital collection tools and CRM systems is a plus.
