MAIN JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, resources, and budget estimates.
  • Coordinate project kick-off meetings and facilitate regular project status meetings to track progress and address any issues or risks.
  • Utilize project management tools and methodologies to effectively manage project timelines and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications, both internally and externally.
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders, including senior management, regarding project status, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners and business stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and priorities.
  • Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address potential obstacles to project success.
  • Work closely with technical leads and team members to resolve issues and escalate critical issues to senior management when necessary.
  • Implement best practices for risk management and issue resolution to minimize project delays and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring clarity of roles, responsibilities, and expectations.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share feedback and implement lessons learned from previous projects.
  • Collaborate with quality assurance teams to define testing strategies and ensure that deliverables meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor project performance metrics and KPIs to measure progress and identify opportunities for process improvement.
QUALIFICATION:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • Proven 5+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager, preferably in the fintech or financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and project management best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid technical background with experience in software development, web technologies, and cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional project teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities and navigate complex project environments.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment is highly desirable.
