PalmPay is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Ghana, Nigeria and expanding to other markets in 2023. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online.We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Recruitment Specialist to manage the full recruitment cycle, from identifying hiring needs to sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding top talent. The ideal candidate will be passionate about connecting people to the right opportunities and helping the company build strong, diverse, and capable teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand job requirements and workforce planning needs
  • Develop and post job descriptions on relevant platforms (job boards, social media, internal portals)
  • Source candidates through a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, and recruitment events
  • Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates
  • Conduct initial interviews (phone, video, or in-person) and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and hiring activity
  • Manage communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process, ensuring a positive candidate experience
  • Prepare offer letters and facilitate pre-employment checks and onboarding
  • Track recruitment KPIs (e.g., time-to-hire, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness) and report on hiring progress
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for future openings
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, salary benchmarks, and best practices in talent acquisition.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Manager,Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist (in-house or agency)
  • Solid understanding of recruitment tools, sourcing techniques, and interview methods
  • Experience using applicant tracking systems (e.g., Greenhouse, Workable, BambooHR, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and integrity

Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with employment laws and HR best practices
  • Experience recruiting in [specific industry, e.g., tech, healthcare, retail]
  • Knowledge of employer branding and recruitment marketing
  • Multilingual skills (if applicable)
