PALMPAY is a Pan-African fintech company currently operating in Nigeria, Ghana and Kenya and expanding to other markets in 2023, including Egypt. We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online.We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Marketing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, executing, and optimizing marketing campaigns across multiple channels to increase brand awareness, generate leads, and drive business growth. You should have a solid grasp of current marketing tools, data analysis, and best practices, with the ability to lead integrated marketing campaigns from concept to execution.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies that align with business goals

  • Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns including SEO/SEM, email, social media, and paid advertising

  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, design, product) to create compelling marketing materials and campaigns

  • Track and report on campaign performance metrics (KPIs, ROI) and recommend optimizations

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape

  • Manage and maintain the company’s website, ensuring content is current, optimized, and engaging

  • Coordinate with external vendors and agencies as needed for campaign support

  • Support event planning and execution including trade shows, webinars, and promotional events

  • Develop marketing collateral (brochures, case studies, email templates, etc.)

  • Manage social media presence and grow engagement across platforms


Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

  • 3+ years of proven experience in a marketing role, preferably in [insert industry]

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta Ads, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Analytics, etc.)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience with SEO/SEM, CRM systems, and content management systems (e.g., WordPress)

  • Ability to analyze data and provide evidence-based recommendations

  • Creative thinking with a strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
