Role Overview:
The Business Development Manager will drive acquisition and growth of online merchants by onboarding e-commerce businesses, marketplaces, and digital platforms to the company’s payment solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, prospect, and onboard online merchants (e-commerce, marketplaces, subscription platforms, etc.).
- Drive merchant acquisition to meet revenue and transaction volume targets.
- Build and manage strong relationships with key merchant partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close partnership agreements.
- Collaborate with Product and Tech teams to support seamless merchant integration.
- Monitor merchant performance, retention, and upsell opportunities.
- Track pipeline activity and provide regular performance reports. Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
- 4–6 years’ experience in fintech, payments, or e-commerce business development.
- Strong understanding of online payments, payment gateways, APIs, and merchant acquiring. - Proven track record in merchant acquisition and revenue growth.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
