We’re reinventing the payments experience by making it easy and reliable for everyone to transfer money, pay bills and shop online. We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Human Resources Supervisor.The HR Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day human resource operations in Tanzania, ensuring compliance with labor laws, managing HR processes, and supporting the implementation of HR policies and procedures. This role will also support talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and administrative HR functions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and support the HR team in Tanzania to ensure smooth execution of HR operations.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and internal company policies.
  • Oversee recruitment and onboarding processes, including preparation of job descriptions, shortlisting, interviewing, and onboarding documentation.
  • Maintain and update employee records, including contracts, leave, attendance, and disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and support employee performance management and appraisal processes.
  • Coordinate payroll inputs and statutory compliance (e.g., NSSF, PAYE, WCF).
  • Handle employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters professionally and in accordance with legal and company standards.
  • Prepare regular HR reports for management on HR metrics (turnover, absenteeism, etc.).
  • Support training and development initiatives for staff capacity building.
  • Ensure the workplace is aligned with health, safety, and welfare standards.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a similar HR supervisory or officer-level role.
  • Solid understanding of Tanzanian labor laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience with HRIS systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
  • Fluent in English and Swahili.
