Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Biller Online Business Manager to join our growing team. This individual will be responsible for driving the adoption of PalmPay’s digital payment solutions among merchants, including Pay with Transfer, Pay with Wallet, Pay with Bank Card, and USSD payments.

The successful candidate will identify and onboard key merchants, manage relationships, and ensure continuous usage and satisfaction with our services. You will also be expected to research market trends, resolve transactional issues, and contribute to overall business growth within your assigned territory.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deploy and manage PalmPay’s payment solutions across merchant outlets.
  • Source, engage, and onboard strategic merchants within your assigned territory.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with merchants through regular engagement and support.
  • Communicate product updates, business changes, and operational improvements to merchants.
  • Investigate and resolve transaction-related issues promptly, ensuring minimal disruption to merchants’ operations.
  • Monitor merchant performance and ensure achievement of transaction volume and usage targets.
  • Distribute branding materials and increase awareness of PalmPay’s services in local markets.
  • Gather market intelligence and share relevant feedback with internal teams for continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with business development teams to suggest and implement initiatives that enhance merchant satisfaction and product adoption.


Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in merchant acquisition, business development, or digital payments (fintech/banking/telecoms preferred).
  • Strong understanding of digital payment solutions (e.g., Wallet, USSD, Card, and Bank Transfer).
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and achieve performance targets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good knowledge of the business and commercial landscape within your assigned region.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools and basic reporting systems.
