The Senior Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process, developing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely acquisition of goods and services while optimizing cost, quality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives.
- Manage sourcing activities, supplier selection, contract negotiations, and purchase processes.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
- Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Lead negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with agreed service standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and provide effective solutions.
- Ensure adherence to company procurement policies and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support decision-making.
- Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably within a fast-paced corporate environment.
- Strong experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and strategic sourcing.
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement management systems.
- Professional certifications such as CIPS, CIPSMN, or related qualifications will be an added advantage.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
