To support this growth, we are seeking an HRIS Data Analyst to manage and optimize HR systems and ensure data-driven decision-making across the employee lifecycle.
The HRIS Data Analyst will be responsible for managing PalmPay’s Human Resource Information Systems (HRIS), ensuring data accuracy, generating insights, and supporting HR operations with robust analytics. This role will collaborate with HRBPs, ER, TA team and Payroll to ensure systems are optimized for efficiency, compliance, and workforce planning.
- Maintain and optimize PalmPay’s HRIS platforms, ensuring system functionality, upgrades, and integrations with other business systems.
- Act as the primary point of contact for HR system issues, coordinating with IT and vendors as required.
- Collect, validate, and maintain HR data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards.
- Develop and deliver standard and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics for HR and leadership teams.
- Identify data inconsistencies and work with HR teams to resolve them.
- Analyze HR data to provide actionable insights on workforce trends (e.g., turnover, recruitment effectiveness, headcount, diversity).
- Support workforce planning, talent acquisition, and performance management with data-driven recommendations.
- Streamline HR data processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with Nigerian data protection regulations (NDPR) and global best practices.
- Support audit requirements by providing accurate HR data and reports.
Key Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in HRIS, HR Analytics, etc.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., Dingtalk, Workday, BambooHR, or similar).
- Strong data analysis skills with advanced knowledge of Excel, SQL, and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Knowledge of HR processes (recruitment, performance, payroll, learning & development).
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- High attention to detail, data integrity, and compliance mindset.
