Role Overview

The Logistics & Accommodation Specialist will be responsible for managing day-to-day dormitory operations and employee accommodation logistics for PalmPay Bangladesh.

This role will ensure proper dormitory management, vendor coordination, maintenance support, inventory tracking, and employee living support services. The ideal candidate should have strong coordination skills, administrative capability, and experience managing accommodation or logistics-related operations.


Key Responsibilities

Dormitory Operations Management

  • Manage daily operations of company dormitories and employee accommodation facilities.
  • Coordinate room allocation, occupancy tracking, and accommodation arrangements for employees.
  • Ensure dormitory facilities are maintained in a safe, clean, and organized condition.

Vendor & Maintenance Coordination

  • Coordinate with landlords, maintenance vendors, cleaners, security personnel, and service providers.
  • Follow up on dormitory maintenance issues including electricity, water, internet, furniture, and repairs.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely service delivery.

Logistics & Inventory Management

  • Maintain records of dormitory assets, furniture, appliances, and supply inventory.
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics support related to dormitory operations when required.
  • Ensure proper tracking and documentation of accommodation-related expenses and assets.

Employee Support & Coordination

  • Support employees with accommodation-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
  • Conduct dormitory inspections and ensure compliance with company rules and safety standards.
  • Assist HR & Admin teams with onboarding accommodation arrangements for new employees.

Reporting & Administrative Support

  • Prepare regular reports related to dormitory occupancy, maintenance, expenses, and operational issues.
  • Maintain proper documentation, agreements, and administrative records.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Logistics, or related field.

Experience

  • 3–5 years of experience in logistics, administration, facilities, accommodation, or dormitory management.
  • Experience in multinational companies, fintech, telecom, or fast-growing organizations is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong coordination and problem-solving skills.
  • Good vendor and stakeholder management capability.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Ability to handle operational issues efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
