Job Title: Area Sales Manager (ASM)
Reports to: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)
Location: Cebu


Responsibilities:
  • Team Supervision: Directly supervise and manage a team of Field Sales Representatives within the assigned area, coordinating daily activities to ensure team productivity and effectiveness.
  • Target Deployment: Break down the regional sales targets into individual goals for team members and assign specific territories. Closely monitor progress to ensure the team meets sales and activation targets.
  • Store Visits & Execution: Conduct regular visits to partner merchant stores to check product visibility, POS materials, and ensure that in-store execution aligns with company standards.
  • Training & Enablement: Conduct on-site training and coaching for new sales representatives and store staff on product knowledge, application processes, and selling skills to enhance their performance.
  • Relationship Maintenance: Assist the RSM in maintaining strong relationships with key merchants in the area. Handle basic inquiries from merchants or customers and resolve frontline issues promptly.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather intelligence on competitor activities, promotions, and merchant feedback within the area. Submit regular market intelligence reports to the RSM.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Oversee the sales conduct of team members to ensure all transactions and customer applications strictly comply with company policies and risk control standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit daily/weekly sales reports summarizing team performance, market dynamics, and any issues encountered.
  • Customer Support: Assist in resolving simple customer issues related to installment applications to enhance the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Associate or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Work Experience:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of sales experience, with at least 1-2 years in a team leadership or supervisory role.
  • Must have experience in Retail, Consumer Finance, Telecommunications, or FMCG industries. Experience in mobile phone installment or electronics sales is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with the geographical area and market dynamics of the assigned region. Existing local merchant connections are an advantage.

Core Skills:
  • Good data analysis skills, capable of using Excel for basic data sorting and report generation.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills to handle frontline situations independently.
  • Basic training and coaching skills to effectively convey product information to representatives and store staff.
  • Fluent communication skills in English and Filipino.

Personal Attributes:
  • Proactive, strong execution ability, and comfortable with extensive fieldwork and frequent travel.
  • Good resilience under pressure and a strong team player.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle is an advantage.
