Position Summary
The Marketing Officer will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives for Palmpay Philippines. The role focuses on user acquisition, brand awareness, customer engagement, and supporting growth in the mobile finance ecosystem. The ideal candidate is hands-on, data-driven, and experienced in digital and field marketing within fintech, telecom, or consumer tech industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to drive user acquisition and retention for PalmPay PH
- Plan and manage campaigns across digital channels (social media, performance ads, influencers, SMS, etc.)
- Support offline marketing initiatives including activations, partnerships, and store-based promotions
- Coordinate with sales, operations, and product teams to ensure campaign alignment
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare regular reports (ROI, CAC, conversion rates, engagement)
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities
- Manage marketing materials, creatives, and vendor coordination
- Support customer communication initiatives to improve engagement and reduce churn create spiel and communication for customer
- Assist in localizing campaigns based on Philippine market behavior and regulations
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with local financial and data privacy regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in marketing (fintech, telecom, e-wallet, or FMCG preferred)
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and performance marketing
- Experience in both online and offline campaign execution
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze marketing metrics
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
- Familiarity with Philippine consumer behavior and mobile finance ecosystem is a plus
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (sales, product, operations)
Preferred Skills
- Experience in fintech / e-wallet / mobile lending industry
- Knowledge of CRM tools and marketing automation
- Basic understanding of compliance and data privacy (PH regulations)
