Position Overview
We are looking for a motivated IT Intern to support daily IT operations and assist in maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure. This role is ideal for fresh graduates who have basic technical knowledge, a strong willingness to learn, and the ability to provide timely IT support to employees across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
1. IT Support & Troubleshooting
Provide first-level technical support to employees for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
Troubleshoot common problems related to Windows OS, MS Office, email systems, and internet connectivity.
2. System & Equipment Support
Assist in installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, printers, network devices, and other IT equipment.
Support routine system maintenance tasks including updates, antivirus checks, and backups.
3. User & Access Management
Assist with user account creation, password resets, and basic access control management.
4. IT Asset & Documentation Management
Help monitor and manage IT assets, inventory records, and technical documentation.
Ensure proper tracking of IT equipment and resources.
5. Vendor & Project Support
Coordinate with vendors for IT-related purchases, repairs, and service support.
Support the IT team in ongoing projects such as system migration, network upgrades, and software deployments.
6. Team Collaboration
Assist the IT team with daily operational tasks and any other responsibilities assigned by the IT Supervisor or Manager.
Requirements
Educational Requirements
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (completed) in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Required Skills
Basic understanding of computer hardware, networking, and operating systems.
Familiarity with Windows OS, Microsoft Office tools, and common IT utilities.
Good communication skills with a helpful and service-oriented attitude.
Strong willingness to learn and ability to follow instructions.
Problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
Must be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
