Job Overview:
Manager/ Senior Manager Project & Stakeholder Management will support the Executive Director in overseeing strategic projects, cross-departmental coordination, regulatory engagement, and stakeholder management. The role will ensure effective execution of organizational priorities, regulatory initiatives, and strategic partnerships while maintaining alignment with PalmPay’s fintech, payments, and digital lending operations. This position will serve as a central coordination point between the Executive Director’s Office and key internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, financial institutions, partners, and internal business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Project Management
- Lead and oversee end-to-end execution of strategic projects across payments, wallet, and lending products
- Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and KPIs to ensure timely delivery
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
- Ensure alignment of projects with organizational goals and regulatory requirements
- Drive cross-functional collaboration between Product, Technology, Operations, Compliance, and Finance teams
- Stakeholder Management
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders including regulators, banks, MFS partners, payment networks, and strategic partners
- Act as the primary coordination point between the Executive Director’s Office and internal/external stakeholders
- Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings, updates, and reporting
- Ensure stakeholder expectations are clearly defined and managed proactively
- Support negotiation and onboarding of strategic partnerships
- Regulatory Coordination & Compliance Support
- Coordinate with regulatory bodies (e.g., Bangladesh Bank) on approvals, reporting, and compliance initiatives
- Track regulatory changes impacting PSP/PSO, digital payments, and lending operations
- Support preparation of regulatory submissions, documentation, and audits
- Ensure projects and partnerships comply with AML, CFT, KYC, and data protection requirements
- Liaise with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure adherence to applicable guidelines
- Executive Support & Governance
- Support the Executive Director in strategic planning, decision-making, and execution tracking
- Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and board-level discussions
- Track organizational priorities and ensure timely follow-up across departments
- Establish governance frameworks for project tracking and performance monitoring
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a bridge between business units to ensure seamless communication and execution
- Resolve inter-departmental issues and remove execution bottlenecks
- Ensure alignment between product development, operational readiness, and go-to-market strategies
- Coordinate internal initiatives related to new product launches and market expansion
- Partnership & Ecosystem Development
- Support identification and development of strategic partnerships (banks, fintechs, merchants, aggregators)
- Coordinate integration efforts with partners for payment gateway, API services, and digital financial solutions
- Monitor partner performance and ensure SLA adherence
- Drive initiatives to expand the fintech ecosystem and enhance service offerings
- Risk Management & Reporting
- Identify operational, regulatory, and project risks and escalate as needed
- Maintain risk registers and ensure mitigation actions are implemented
- Develop and present periodic reports on project status, stakeholder engagement, and key business metrics
- Ensure transparency and accountability in execution
Key Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred
- Minimum 8 years of experience in fintech, banking, payments, or digital financial services
- Proven experience in project management, stakeholder management, or strategy roles
- Experience working with PSP/PSO, payment gateway, or digital lending platforms is highly preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks, especially Bangladesh Bank guidelines
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication abilities
- Deep understanding of fintech ecosystem (payments, wallets, lending, APIs)
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance (AML, CFT, KYC)
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong presentation and reporting skills for senior leadership
