Job Summary
The Senior Admin/HR Specialist will manage HR and administrative functions for a fast-paced fintech environment, ensuring compliance with local labor laws while supporting business growth. The role will drive recruitment, employee engagement, payroll coordination, and efficient office operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for technical and non-technical fintech roles
- Ensure compliance with Burkina Faso labor laws and internal HR policies
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, and statutory obligations with vendors
- Maintain accurate HR records, contracts, and employee lifecycle documentation
- Manage employee relations, performance management, and disciplinary processes
- Support onboarding/offboarding and foster a strong company culture
- Oversee office administration, vendor management, and facility operations
- Coordinate staff logistics (travel, visas, accommodation where required)
- Partner with leadership to implement HR strategies aligned with business goals
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years’ experience in HR/Admin, preferably in fintech, tech, or financial services
- Strong knowledge of Burkina Faso labor laws and regulatory environment
- Experience working in a fast-paced, scaling organization
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Fluency in French (mandatory) and English (preferred)
- Adaptability in a fast-growing fintech environment
