Core job responsibilities
- Ensure the company's tax compliance
1. Be responsible for supervising team members to submit various tax returns such as enterprise income tax and value-added tax in a timely and accurate manner to ensure the company's tax compliance.
2. Be responsible for contract review to ensure that tax compliance requirements are taken into account when signing contracts and to minimize tax costs as much as possible. Manage the tax team to ensure that the taxes due are correctly deducted when making payments.
3. Be responsible for coordinating with all regulatory authorities, tax authorities and auditing institutions regarding tax inspections. Be capable of accurately and persuasively striving for the company's interests.
4. Follow up on all changes in the tax policies of Nigeria, promptly study and grasp them, and in combination with the business model, output reports on the impact of tax policy changes
5. Provide tax training and answers to various tax-related questions for team members and business departments
6. Establish and maintain relationships with the tax bureau and external consulting agencies
7. If the company has new business, it needs to fully apply tax knowledge to conduct a comprehensive analysis of the tax-related matters of the new business and provide the best tax solution.
Professional competence and skills
1. Proficient in the regulatory provisions of the Niger National Tax Authority (FIRS), and well-versed in the laws and operational procedures of core taxes such as value-added tax and withholding tax.
2. Possess strong leadership skills and be capable of coordinating the team to complete tax-related work Industry and experience requirements Work Experience: Generally, 8-10 years of tax-related work experience is required, including at least
3 years of management position experience, and an advanced resume in tax work is necessary. Key capabilities: Possess relevant resources from the tax bureau or accounting firm, experience in the Big Four, and 3-4 years of tax experience in Chinese-funded enterprises or the financial industry. Educational qualifications and professional qualifications
Educational requirements:
- Major in Accounting and Taxation from a well-known university.
Professional qualifications:
Those holding professional qualification certificates such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and Certified Public Accountant will be given priority for admission
