Position Overview
PalmPay is seeking an experienced and business-driven HR Manager to support our Philippines operations. This role will play a critical leadership function in talent acquisition, compensation & benefits, and performance management, while partnering closely with business leaders to build scalable people systems in a fast-growing fintech environment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
Lead end-to-end recruitment across technical, business, operations, and support functions.
Develop targeted hiring strategies to support rapid business expansion in the Philippines.
Manage recruitment vendors, job portals, and employer branding initiatives.
Ensure high-quality hiring, optimized time-to-fill, and strong candidate experience.
2. Compensation, Benefits & Performance Management
Design and manage competitive compensation and benefits frameworks aligned with local market benchmarks.
Lead annual salary reviews, incentive schemes, and performance-based bonus structures.
Drive performance management cycles, including goal setting, mid-year and annual reviews.
Partner with leadership to align rewards with performance and business outcomes.
3. HR Operations & Policy Management
Oversee end-to-end HR operations including onboarding, employee lifecycle management, and documentation.
Develop and update HR policies and SOPs in compliance with Philippine labor laws and PalmPay standards.
Maintain accurate HR data, reports, and dashboards for management review.
4. Business Partnering & Leadership Support
Act as a trusted HR Business Partner to department heads and senior leadership.
Advise on organization design, manpower planning, and people strategy.
Support change management and organizational development initiatives.
5. Employee Relations & Compliance
Manage employee relations matters, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
Ensure compliance with local labor laws, statutory requirements, and internal policies.
Coordinate with external advisors, consultants, or authorities when required.
Required Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
Master’s degree or professional HR certification is an advantage.
Experience
7–12 years of progressive HR experience, with 3–5+ years in an HR Manager or Senior HR leadership role.
Strong, hands-on experience in recruitment, including high-volume and specialized hiring.
Proven expertise in compensation & benefits design and performance management systems.
Experience working in fintech, technology, financial services, or fast-growing multinational companies is highly preferred.
