Job Title: Regional Sales Manager (RSM)

Reports to: National Sales Manager / Sales Director

Responsibilities:
  • Strategy & Growth: Develop and execute the regional sales strategy to achieve or exceed company goals in revenue, market share, and store expansion for mobile phone financing products.
  • Channel Development: Lead the expansion of the open channel market by conducting fieldwork to identify, sign, onboard, and activate new merchant partners (mobile phone retailers, dealers, chains). Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key partners.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, motivate, and manage a high-performing team including Area Sales Managers (ASMs), Sales Representatives, and Brand Ambassadors. Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and career development support.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee daily sales operations across all stores in the region, ensuring effective product placement, smooth customer application processes, and strict adherence to company policies. Guarantee the frontline sales team is fully trained to effectively promote phone financing services to customers.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and KPIs. Prepare accurate sales forecasts and reports, adapting sales strategies promptly based on market changes and performance insights.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Risk, Operations, and Finance departments to align regional business initiatives with overall company objectives and effectively resolve issues within the region.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay abreast of competitor activities, market trends, and customer feedback. Identify new business opportunities and provide valuable market insights to the head office.
  • Budget Management: Manage the regional sales budget, including marketing activities, travel, and operational costs, ensuring efficient resource utilization and ROI.
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or a related field.
Work Experience:
  • Minimum 5-8 years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a team management role (managing at least 10 people).
  • Must have industry background in Consumer Finance, Installment Payment, Telecommunications, or FMCG. Experience in mobile phone or electronics channels is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record in successfully developing and managing Open Channels and familiarity with the local market landscape (e.g., partnerships with Palawan Express, SM Appliance Center).
Core Skills:
  • Proficient in data analysis and reporting, with strong skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) for sales forecasting and performance tracking.
  • Excellent negotiation skills and interpersonal communication skills, capable of building trust with partners at all levels.
  • Basic understanding of financial principles to comprehend risk policies and P&L statements.
  • Fluent in English and Filipino (both written and spoken) as working languages.
Personal Attributes:
  • Highly results-oriented, with strong resilience under pressure and execution ability. Willingness to travel extensively (over 70% of the time for store visits).
  • Strategic thinker with strong attention to detail and execution.
  • Possess a valid driver's license and own a vehicle is an advantage.
