Role Overview
A Financial Institution Banking Officer job involves managing customer accounts, processing transactions, offering loan/investment products, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Key roles include tellers, relationship managers, and analysts tasked with driving sales, mitigating risk, and providing financial advisory services to clients. 

Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate and institutional clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client banking needs
  • Identify opportunities to provide tailored banking solutions and services
Account Management & Operations
  • Manage and monitor client accounts, ensuring accurate records and transactions
  • Coordinate with internal teams to deliver seamless banking services
  • Assist in onboarding new institutional clients and maintaining documentation
Financial Analysis & Reporting
  • Prepare reports, financial statements, and account summaries for clients
  • Conduct financial analysis to support credit or service recommendations
  • Monitor account performance and flag potential risks or opportunities
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Ensure all activities comply with internal policies, banking regulations, and BSP guidelines
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and regulatory purposes
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives for institutional accounts
Business Development Support
  • Identify potential business opportunities and support client acquisition efforts
  • Participate in meetings and presentations to promote banking solutions
  • Collaborate with sales and product teams to align client offerings with their needs

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
  • 2–5 years of experience in banking, corporate finance, or financial services
  • Strong understanding of institutional banking products and services
  • Knowledge of BSP regulations and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and banking systems
