PalmPay is a leading fintech company revolutionizing digital payments and financial services across Africa. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a highly skilled HR Supervisor in Tanzania to oversee talent acquisition and compensation & benefits (payroll).

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
  • Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure seamless hiring.
  • Enhance employer branding and employee value proposition to attract top talent.
Compensation & Benefits (Payroll Management):
  • Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
  • Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and tax regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pensions, and other allowances.
  • Handle payroll queries and ensure resolution of any discrepancies.
HR Compliance & Operations:
  • Maintain HR records, contracts, and payroll documentation in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
  • Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
  • Provide HR analytics and reports on hiring, payroll, and benefits.
  • Implement HR best practices to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and payroll.
  • Strong understanding of Tanzanian labor laws, payroll systems, and tax regulations.
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, talent management, and compensation structures.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in payroll processing.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
