PalmPay is a leading fintech company revolutionizing digital payments and financial services across Africa. We are expanding rapidly and seeking a highly skilled HR Supervisor in Tanzania to oversee talent acquisition and compensation & benefits (payroll).

Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment:

Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
Manage the end-to-end hiring process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviews, and offer negotiations.
Build and maintain a strong talent pipeline for key roles.
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs and ensure seamless hiring.
Enhance employer branding and employee value proposition to attract top talent.

Compensation & Benefits (Payroll Management):

Oversee payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary disbursements.
Ensure compliance with Tanzanian labor laws and tax regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Conduct salary benchmarking and compensation reviews to maintain market competitiveness.
Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, pensions, and other allowances.
Handle payroll queries and ensure resolution of any discrepancies.

HR Compliance & Operations:

Maintain HR records, contracts, and payroll documentation in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Support employee onboarding and orientation programs.
Provide HR analytics and reports on hiring, payroll, and benefits.
Implement HR best practices to improve efficiency and employee satisfaction.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5–7 years of experience in HR, with a focus on talent acquisition and payroll.
Strong understanding of Tanzanian labor laws, payroll systems, and tax regulations.
Proven expertise in recruitment, talent management, and compensation structures.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in payroll processing.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Proficiency in HR software and payroll systems.
