We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Development Manager / Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in consumer lending processes, digital disbursement, and experience working with various financial institutions. This role requires expertise in risk assessment, credit facilities, and microfinance institutions (MFIs).
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee and manage the consumer lending process, ensuring efficient and compliant operations.
• Implement and optimize digital disbursement methods to enhance customer experience and streamline processes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with financial institutions to facilitate partnerships and collaborations.
• Negotiate and manage agreements with financial partners to support business growth.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential risks.
• Manage credit facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Leverage experience in MFIs to drive the development and implementation of microfinance solutions.
• Monitor and analyze market trends to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in MFI offerings.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s market presence.
• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
• Oversee daily operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
• Proven experience in consumer lending, digital disbursement, and working with financial institutions.
• Strong background in risk assessment and credit facility management.
• Experience in microfinance institutions (MFIs) is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
