Role Summary
The Sales Operations Specialist will play a critical role in supporting the sales team by driving operational efficiency, performance tracking, and process optimization. This role requires a data-driven and detail-oriented professional who can manage sales reporting, support field operations, and ensure the effective execution of commercial strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance metrics
- Develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports
- Analyze sales data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities
- Provide actionable insights to improve sales effectiveness
- Design, implement, and improve sales processes and workflows
- Identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions to enhance productivity
- Ensure standardization of sales operations across locations
- Support field sales teams with operational needs and coordination
- Track agent/merchant onboarding and activation performance
- Ensure timely resolution of operational issues impacting sales teams
- Support the design and administration of sales incentive programs
- Track performance against targets and ensure accurate payout calculations
- Provide insights to optimize incentive structures for better performance
- Maintain accurate sales and customer data within internal systems
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across reporting platforms
- Support the adoption and effective use of sales tools and CRM systems
- Work closely with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Operations teams
- Support campaign execution, product launches, and market expansion initiatives
- Act as a bridge between sales and other business units
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or related field
- 3–6 years of experience in sales operations, business operations, or analytics roles
- Experience in fintech, telecom, or fast-paced commercial environments is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and data reporting tools
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tracking tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and data accuracy
- Excellent organizational and multitasking ability
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
