PalmPay is a leading fintech company committed to providing innovative payment and consumer finance solutions that make digital financial services more accessible, safe, and rewarding.We are expanding our presence in the Philippines through mobile installment programs for Transsion brands (Tecno / Infinix / Itel), enabling consumers to enjoy flexible and affordable financing options.Current company seeking a strategic and detail-oriented Finance Manager to oversee the financial management and reporting of our device finance operations in the Philippines. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in consumer finance, mobile device financing, and fintech accounting, with prior experience in Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, or PayJoy.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for device finance operations.
  • Monitor and control revenues, expenses, and profitability, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Oversee accounting, reporting, and compliance in line with Philippine financial regulations and BSP guidelines.
  • Conduct financial analysis, performance reporting, and variance analysis, providing insights to senior management.
  • Support strategic decision-making with accurate and timely financial information.
  • Collaborate with operations, sales, and collections teams to optimize financial performance.
  • Ensure internal controls, risk management, and audit compliance are maintained.
  • Implement financial policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and transparency.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings as required.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred).
  • 7+ years of finance experience, with at least 3 years in device finance, consumer lending, or fintech.
  • Prior experience in Home Credit, Salmon, Billease, PayJoy, or similar organizations is highly desirable.
  • Strong understanding of Philippine accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficient in financial modeling, reporting, and analytics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
Competencies:
  • Strategic and analytical thinker with strong commercial acumen.
  • Detail-oriented and process-driven with a focus on accuracy.
  • Ability to lead finance teams and drive financial discipline.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Knowledge of financial systems and ERP platforms used in fintech or device finance is a plus.
